The ChildrenConnect Museum is on a mission to engage children and families in the joyful discovery of connecting to the world around them through meaningful play. Each room has a unique theme! Watch their imagination come to life in the four creative play rooms:
The Discovery Zone, Pretend and Play, Everyday Heroes, The Maker Space and The Sensory Spot.
Access all rooms with your daily general admission or save money by purchasing a membership admission. Please remember adult supervision is required.

We understand that not everybody experiences noise the same, so if your little one likes quiet spaces our manager on duty at the front desk has headphones available to borrow.

The Discovery Zone
When you walk into the museum, on your right you will see the Discovery Zone. This room focuses on rotating hands-on Science-based activities for kids including Biology, dinosaurs, fossils, Zoology and Entomology.
Pretend and Play Room- Your Everyday World
This room is perfect for kids who like to pretend they are are shopping at the grocery store, cooking in a kitchen, driving cars and trains or playing with a dollhouse. This room is full of toddler-friendly toys and even has an exploration lookout.
Maker Space
This space is full of creative materials for drop-in crafts. It's an art lab where imagination cultivates skill-building. Crafting increases hand-eye coordination, problem-solving and focus. This is not just an art space though. Counting art supplies, comparing ratios of materials and shape awareness are great ways to boost math skills!

Community Heroes Corner
In this room, the sky's the limit! The Community Heroes Corner is a great space for kids to try on costumes and practice what they want to be when they grow up. The Dentist/Doctor/Vet stations are great for those who like to help. For the beauty queens, try out the Hair Dresser Station. For those who love to sing and dance, skip on over to the Puppet Theater.
Engineers will love our collection of both small and large legos.
