About the event
In this hands-on STEM class, students will explore the fascinating science behind one of history’s greatest inventions—the light bulb! Through an engaging, interactive lesson, we’ll dive into key electrical concepts, including open and closed circuits, resistance, and the role of vacuums in improving efficiency. Students will construct a working light bulb using simple household materials such as mason jars, tea light candles, wire, and pencil lead.
As they build, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of how early inventors like Thomas Edison refined this technology and how electricity powers the world around us.
Join us for an illuminating experience that sparks curiosity and creativity!
