session 1 : June 1-5

Safety City (ages 4 to 6)

THE PROGRAM: Each day a different safety topic is presented. The students will then be introduced to a representative from each different safety dept including Newnan City Police, Newnan Fire Dept, Georgia Poison Control, and Newnan Utilities. 

The topics include water, fire, electrical, poison, bicycle, pedestrian and playground safety.  Students will learn about safety while riding pedal cars at the outdoor classroom with street signs and a stop light.

The program is aimed at children aged 4 years old to 6 years old. The students receive a t-shirt and a snack each day.

On the last day, the children will have a graduation ceremony at 11 am.

Half Day Camp 9 am - 11 am

session 2:June 8-12

Mad Scientist (Ages 7-11)

THE PROGRAM: Campers will participate in highly engaging science activities each day.  They will participate in fun filled hands-on science activities such as soda bottle rockets, elephant's toothpaste, rock candy, pool noodle marble run, and popsicle stick catapults.

The program is aimed at children ages 7-11 years old.  The students will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and extra drink each day.

Full Day Camp from 9am-4pm

session 3 :June 15-19

Space Camp (ages 5 to 8)

THE PROGRAM: Astronauts wanted! Campers will be transported our of this world for a week of Space Themed activities.  Campers will learn about space with activities geared towards grades K-2.  Topics will include the sun, the moon, and the planets with crafts, hands-on activities, and even a couple snacks related to our solar system.

The program is aimed at children ages 5-8 years old.  The students will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and extra drink each day.

Full Day Camp from 9am-4pm

 Session 4:June 22-26

Colonial Camp (ages 8 to 12)

THE PROGRAM: Did you ever wonder how people lived before modern conveniences?  How did people heat their homes without electricity?  Or how were clothes kept clean without a washer and dryer?  Travel back in time with our colonial camp to see how people lived during the early days of America.  Students will learn what everyday living was like back in the colonial days by doing hands-on projects.  Some activities include learning how to make butter, learning how to sew, candle dipping, colonial games, and even quill writing.

The program is aimed at children ages 8-12 years old.  The students will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and extra drink each day.

Full Day Camp from 9am-4pm
